We've got so much up our sleeves for our Grand (re)Opening that we don't even know where to start!

Perhaps a list is in order:

• Doors open at 9am with a little ceremony to set the scene
• There will be spot prizes throughout the day; little and often!
• Every hour on the hour we will give away a $100 Gift Voucher
• Everyone who visits our store this weekend will be given the opportunity to go into the draw to win a $1000 hamper full of NZ made goodies (winner will be drawn at closing on Christmas Eve and contact will be made by phone or email)

As if our (re)Opening wasn't enough excitement, we are also extremely proud to announce that we are using this major event as an opportunity open under a new brand... KiwiCreated (formerly CraftWorld).

Throughout the 19 years we operated as CraftWorld, there were often times we felt that our name didn't accurately reflect who we were; we are not all crafts and we are certainly not the world... we are purely New Zealand, and proud of it!
We are proud of our history and all that we have achieved over the past two decades, but now is the time to look toward the future.

It's been a long time coming, but we're glad to say that we'll be opening our brand new doors at 3/48 Maki Street in NorthWest 2 in a week's time (next to Stirling Sports).

Over the past months, we've had to jump through more hoops than we could possibly have imagined, which meant an unexpectedly long transition and a whole bunch of frustrated people.

The good news is that we have received the long-awaited Council consent which means we are moving in and will officially open the doors to our new store on Saturday, 23 December 2017!!​

However, if you'd rather not leave your Christmas shopping to the last minute we would like to invite you to visit our sister store The Elephant House at 237 Parnell Road who stocks many of the much loved and best selling artists and craftspeople you are used to seeing with us.

If you've been following the of our new store progress on Facebook, you will already know that things haven't gone as smoothly or as swiftly as we originally imagined. Perhaps that was a mix of naivety and optimism but this whole saga has certainly been an eye opener.

We expect to have Council sign off in the next few days which means the fit-out company will be able to complete its job. As soon as that happens, Jo and the team will be busy merchandising the space to ensure its ready for opening. We are still excited about the new space and can't wait to show you all why... we just need to ask for a little more patience.

In the meantime, we wanted to let you know a bit more about the parking at the new store. We are located on the outside of the NorthWest mall just opposite ASB Bank. Yes, there is limited parking outside the store however there is an abundance of spaces in the larger carpark beyond the front entrance of the mall. Yes, that does mean you might have to walk through or around some well-designed and tempting other stores, but we will just call that "going the pretty way".

We assure you that our new store will be worth the wait, and worth the potential walk.
